Kliff Kingsbury, Arizona Cardinals
Kliff Kingsbury (39) was hired as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals on January 8, 2019. Kingsbury replaced Steve Wilks, who was fired after just one season on the job.
Kingsbury was a record-setting quarterback at Texas Tech and was a sixth-round draft pick of the New England Patriots in 2003, but he only attempted two passes in the NFL, playing with four teams over three seasons. He began his coaching career at the University of Houston in 2008, working his way up from offensive quality control to co-offensive coordinator and quarterback coach. He was the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Texas A&M in 2012, working with Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. From 2013-18, Kingsbury was head coach at his alma mater, Texas Tech, where he coaches current Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Kingsbury compiled a record of 35-40 with the Red Raiders.
