- Notwithstanding the final score, the Colts were in this game and competitive until one critical play call.
- With 2:19 left in the 3rd quarter, the Seahawks had just taken a 25-18 lead, but the Colts were being a stubborn opponent and playing well despite mistakes here and there (earlier pick 6 thrown by QB Brissett).
- On a first and 10 from their own 22, the Colts called a slower developing pass play, and the Seahawks defense was able to get to Brissett and cause a fumble, that was immediately returned for a TD. Up until that time, the Colts were utilizing well a fairly conservative game plan, but on this one call, they decided to be a bit more aggressive, but it cost them. The turnover led to an immediate 2 TD lead for the Seahawks which effectively ended the game.
