• Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay appears determined to get quarterback Jared Goff back into a groove and rhythm. In this game, the offensive game plan was brutally efficient. The Rams were going to consistently run the ball downhill, and when they did throw it, the ball would come out quickly. That is what they did, and did well.
• Rams cornerback Aqib Talib is not only a great player but also clearly a leader on this Rams team. The defensive unit plays much better when he is on the field, and the communication on the back-end appears more consistent.
• Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen has taken a beating this year. While he has a gifted arm, we would not say that his release is quick, and therefore, we feel he would be best situated in an offense that plays with a fullback and a downhill running game.
• As the Rams head into the playoffs, one area to keep an eye on is their offensive line. Two of its members are getting older, and beginning to show the effects of a long season.
