This is the final installment of our series on how we perceive all NFL Head Coaches, and the tiers they would fit into for us. As stated before, this is different from our HCR rankings, which assess each coach’s game management on a game by game basis. This is a perception of how there are differences, even in the elite group that is NFL coaches, in their leadership and ability to deliver a quality product. Without further ado:
Adam Gase – he’s a brilliant coach and an underrated tactician, however, we simply question whether he is a good leader. A lot of influential football people, including Peyton Manning, are in his corner, but it’s a production business, and thus far, the results are lacking.
The remaining coaches in this tier include all of the rookie head coaches, who are Vic Fangio, Brian Flores, Kliff Kingsbury, Matt LaFleur, Freddie Kitchens, and Zac Taylor. We obviously don’t know enough about any of them at the moment, but we will soon enough.
