• Philadelphia was aided by some important turnovers, but they looked perfectly capable of competing with the Rams, even with their backup quarterback, which is a credit to their play calling, personnel, and game planning.
• Los Angeles appeared to struggle with pass protection for the second week in a row. Jared Goff did not appear comfortable for most of the game and several times threw errant throws off his back foot. Philadelphia did not appear to be blitzing heavily but was still able to get a substantial pass rush, especially from DT Fletcher Cox.
• Los Angeles attempted a fake punt from their own 30-yard line at the end of third quarter. This was a risky call that has paid off for them several times this season, but it is costly when it does not work. They were lucky to get the ball back on an ensuing turnover, but it was a risky call that nearly put the Rams behind by 20 points.
• Although Los Angeles found themselves in a large deficit, they were able to bring the game back to within seven points which is a credit to their game planning and adjustments.
