At Green Bay
34 degrees, light rain
• Arizona ran an effective offensive game plan with a rookie quarterback on the road that resulted in a win. Credit to their game planning.
• On Green Bay’s first touchdown of the game they elected to go for it on 4th & 4 from the Arizona 13-yard line. The result was positive, but it was a risky decision.
• Cardinals were charged with a delay of game at 4:35 in the 4th quarter.
• It was widely circulated that Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy was fired shortly after this game. Though Green Bay did not have any patently bad coaching decisions in this game, the offense did some meandering and did not have any real type of cohesive game plan. This seemed to have been the case often with the Packers this season.
