Todd Bowles (53) began his NFL coaching career in 2000 as the secondary coach for the New York Jets. From 2001-03 he worked as the secondary and nickel package coach for the Cleveland Browns, before becoming the secondary coach full-time in 2004. He was the secondary coach for the Dallas Cowboys from 2005-07. From 2008-11 he was the secondary and assistant head coach for the Miami Dolphins and interim head coach in 2011. In 2012, he was named the Philadelphia Eagles secondary coach and interim defensive coordinator. He got his first full-time defensive coordinator job with the Arizona Cardinals in 2013. He was named the AP NFL Assistant Coach of the Year in 2014.
Bowles was named the head coach of the New York Jets in 2015. He owns a 17-18 record prior to the 2017 season.
