Jay Gruden, Washington Redskins

Jay Gruden (51) began his NFL coaching career in 2002 as an offensive assistant to his brother’s team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As an assistant, the Buccaneers won Super Bowl XXXVII. He stayed with the team until Jon was fired in 2008.  Gruden spent significant time as a head coach and offensive coordinator in the AFL and UFL before and after his stint with the Buccaneers. He returned to the NFL in 2011 as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals until 2013.

Gruden was named the head coach for the Washington Redskins in 2014. In his second season, the Redskins won the NFC East. He owns a 28-36-1 record prior to 2018. HCR: 2017-2018
