• The Steelers actually played a solid game, but were hurt by two turnovers in the red zone. Had it not been for these turnovers, the game would not likely have been close. For this reason Pittsburgh graded out decently despite not winning the game.
• The Steelers took advantage of Denver double-teaming Antonio Brown by targeting JuJu Smith-Schuster with a great deal of success. Credit to Pittsburgh play calling and personnel.
• Pittsburgh burned two timeouts in the third quarter, and this prevented them from stopping the clock to try for one more possession at the end of the game.
