• The Chargers missed their first extra point of the game and chased that point by attempting a two-point conversion on their next touchdown. The try failed. Had the Chargers kicked the extra point, the last Seattle drive of the game would have been inconsequential as Chargers would have had a 9-point lead as opposed to 8. This is case in point as to why we advise against chasing two-point conversions early in the game, even after missing an extra point.
• The Chargers offensive line did an extremely impressive job of maintaining a clean pocket in the face of Seattle’s fast, stunting offensive line. Rivers was only sacked twice and not until the fourth quarter. The cohesiveness of the offensive line revealed a level of preparation that we credit to Los Angeles’ game planning.
