• Eagles scored on opening possession. Credit to their game planning.
• On a crucial 3rd & 9 in the 4th quarter Philadelphia converted on a pass play to Nelson Agholor that extended their drive and eventually led to the go-ahead touchdown. The replay, however, showed that Agholor had clearly stepped out of bounds prior to his picking up the first down. This was surprisingly not identified by Indianapolis and the play was not challenged. Had they identified the missed call they would have forced a long game-tying field goal attempt rather than go on to allow a game-winning touchdown. This was a crucial miss that arguably cost them the game, and for this Indianapolis’ in-game adjustment score was reduced.
• Philadelphia had used all their timeouts with 1:30 to go in the game. Had Indianapolis scored on their last play, this would have put Philadelphia in a precarious situation trying to orchestrate a scoring drive with approximately 1 minute left and no timeouts.
