- Until the Seahawks solidify their offensive line, it always will be difficult to assess their coaching performance – when the OL play is ineffective, it simply limits what they can call and do. QB Wilson is doing what he can, and there is tremendous pressure on him to manufacture yards with a lot of improvisational play.
- Titans Head Coach Mike Mularkey and his staff performed very well today against a tough opponent. The Titans stayed patient with their running game, and simply wore down a good Seahawks defense. The Titans have a talented QB, and there always is the temptation to open up the offense for him and throw the ball, but they also have talented runners and a solid young offensive line, and today, the Titans’ patience with the run game paid off.
- One area for the Titans to pay attention to is their play clock management. Firmly in control of the game in the 2nd half, there were a few too many occasions where the Titans snapped the ball a little too quickly.
