41 degrees, clear skies
- This was an evenly played game that the Packers won in overtime. Tampa Bay was playing from behind after surrendering a scoop-and-score fumble return set them behind 17-7 in the first half. As a credit to Tampa Bay, their offense adjusted well and looked excellent in the 2nd half, especially in the run game where they looked unstoppable at times.
- Despite their success running the ball, Tampa Bay had two trips inside the Green Bay 5 yard line where they seemed to abandon the run game once they got close to the goal line. The result of these two possessions were a turnover and a field goal. Given how dominant their run game appeared in the second half, it was odd that they shied away from running the ball once they got near the goal line.
- With under a minute to go but enough time to try to score to avoid overtime, Packers called a screen play that resulted in the player being tackled in bounds. They then let about 30 seconds run off the clock before calling a timeout. Game clock management was not well handled in this sequence. However, in overtime they called some effective zone read options with Brett Hundley, quickly moved the ball down the field and were able to score a touchdown on their first drive to win the game.
